  • For our Tuber Pre-Sale April 2025: Please note that our tuber stock up for purchase is based on estimates from previous year’s tuber production. We are always cautious with the numbers allocated to a pre-sale. However, in the unlikely case of a variety not storing well over winter and therefore not being able to fill an order – you will be contacted and offered a refund for that tuber or offered a replacement tuber.

    Once our tuber stock has been divided and we have our final stock numbers; we will have our Main Tuber Sale in Spring. Our packing and shipping of all Pre-sale and Main sale tubers will then commence (usually around September / October).

    Unfortunately we can not offer combined shipping for multiple orders.

    All tubers sold by us have been grown for a NZ summer – we do not import.

    We take the utmost care to ensure our dahlia plants

  • and tuber stock are healthy and disease free. However, due to the prevalence of dahlia disease in NZ and difficulty in testing it is impossible to guarantee this.

    We will never send out tuber stock with obvious signs of disease. Tubers will be sent with a visible eye or growing shoot. If the shoot breaks off during transport; another will grow in its place so do not fret.

    On receiving your tubers – if you have any issues please be in touch via email within 48 hours.

    As there are so many variables involved with growing dahlias we simply cannot provide a replacement or refund after this 48 hours has elapsed.

    All the images of the varieties of dahlia used on the website are our own images from our last three growing seasons.
